Mermaid

This is the painting I finished yesturday.  I started it like two summers ago after going swimming.  It was the most peaceful day.  I loved swimming when I was a child.  As an adult I have found that I have forgotten good memories of my childhood.   One day of swimming brought some of my memories back.  I remembered my sister and I in swimming lessons together, my cousin and I playing mermaids in the pool; my fondest child hood memories are in the swimming pool.   That is what this painting is about.
